| The queen of the Guaracha, as she was known this singer and composer, she was born on September 11 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Their artistic career began her to very early age in Puerto Rico, moving for New York with its family where it continued singing. In 1939 it entered to the group Victoria of Rafael Hernández although a year she left it to sing in other groups and to make career like soloist. It is remembered by such songs as: Qué sabes tú, Cuando vuelvas, Fácil de recordar and En mi soledad. It died on December 2 1987. |
