Cuco Sánchez

(1921-2000)
 
Refugio Sánchez, one of the best cantautores that has given Mexico, was born in Altamira, Tamaulipas May 3 of 1921. In 1937 their career began, arriving him the success in 1939 with his theme Mi chata. From the more than 200 songs that it composed, several they were for movies Mexicans. It also intruded in the performance participating in such movies as La cucaracha beside María Félix and Pedro Armendariz. He died to the 79 year-old age, on October 6 of the 2000.
