| Chilean singer and composer born in San Carlos in 1917.
She begins to compose at a very early age, and in 1952, she began a journey
through the rural areas
of Chile recording and collecting folklore music. She also experienced
with ceramics, painting and weaving and her work was exhibited in the Louvre
museum. She took her own life on February 5, 1967. |
