| Lorenzo Barcelata |
| (?-1943) |
| |
|
He was born in Tlalixcoyan, Veracruz at the beginning of the 20th century (although
some say that he was born at the end of the 19th century) and from a very tender
age he was involved with music since he was part of a family of musicians and fandango dancers.
His waltz "María Elena" gave him international fame and for a while he wrote music for movies of the Paramount
Studios. He died on July 13, 1943. |
